We were involved in one of the most high profile transportation infrastructure projects in the country providing Health and Safety oversight throughout the duration of the Professional Cemetery Relocation Services associated with the St. Johannes Cemetery.

 

Specific responsibilities included coordination and scheduling with Louis Berger’s key staff who are the lead Project Managers and project site directors for the entire relocation project; providing a qualified Site

Specific Safety Officer and personnel for HAZWOPER oversight; reviewing project protocols and procedures for compliance with regulations outlined by the Occupational Health and Safety Administration (OSHA), the City of Chicago, and other regulatory agencies; preparation of a project specific Health and Safety Plan (HASP); ensuring compliance with HASP throughout various activities of the project including enactment of corrective measures; conducting site safety lectures; conducting air and soil monitoring as needed for HAZWOPER compliance.
